Giles Gilson

Giles Gilson’s rich and varied background brings dimension to his art. His education in music, design, and fine art was followed by years as a jazz musician and then a theater director. A passion for the technical aspects of cars and airplanes led him to race-car design while pursuing wood turning. His work combines graceful form and tactile, innovative surfaces, marrying precision with improvisation.

Giles Pickering Gilson, passed away January 21, 2015. He was known worldwide for his beautiful and sometimes whimsical, artwork.
